Schedule: Onsite | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Clearance: Federal customer – U.S. Citizens only
📞 Legacy Avaya PBX environment with hands-on technical ownership
🛠️ Daily administration + onsite telecom support across punchdowns, cross-connects, and cable work
🏗️ Federal shipyard environment requiring PPE & safety compliance (hard hat, steel toes, etc.)
About the Role
This is a newly created onsite position supporting a federal customer in Bath, ME. The Avaya Telecom Technician will manage daily operations of a legacy Avaya Voice PBX environment, voicemail systems, and AudioCodes equipment. This is a hands-on, technical role requiring onsite presence, safety-compliant attire, and work within a secure federal facility.
Job Summary
The Avaya Telecom Technician is responsible for the daily administration, maintenance, and support of legacy Avaya PBX systems, voicemail platforms, and AudioCodes integrations. This role performs cross-connects, punchdowns, cable pulls when needed, and provides full programming and configuration support across the voice environment.
